PHILADELPHIA EAGLES’ COOPER DEJEAN AND HOUSTON TEXANS’ REED BLANKENSHIP RETURN FOR SEASON TWO OF “EXCITING MICS”


Named by Spotify as one of the best sports shows of 2025, the Super Bowl champions reunite on the mic, now from different cities, for a new season of football, life, and celebrity guests.
NEW YORK and DENVER– June 18, 2026 – “Exciting Mics,” the football and pop culture podcast hosted by Super Bowl champions Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship, returns today for its second season. Now entering its second year, the show continues as a joint production from Athletes First, the premier sports representation and marketing agency, GOAT Farm Network, a media company specializing in content with professional athletes. and ALLCITY Network, a leading digital sports media company.
What began as two teammates in a Philadelphia locker room now spans two cities and two fan bases. DeJean returns for his third season with the Philadelphia Eagles, while Blankenship recently joined the Houston Texans this offseason, giving season two a new dynamic as the longtime friends keep the conversation going across markets. The result is a show that now connects Eagles and Texans fans alike, proving the chemistry that made the duo fan favorites travels well beyond any single locker room.
The new season arrives on the back of a breakout first year. Since launching in May 2025, “Exciting Mics” has surpassed 7 million downloads and views across all platforms and was named by Spotify as one of the best sports shows of 2025. Across its first season, the show welcomed a lineup of high-profile guests including Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Eagles Pro Bowl DE Brandon Graham, Legends Jason Kelce and Chris Long, and podcaster Gillie Da Kid, among others. Season two will continue to feature NFL players, celebrities, musicians, and influencers.
New full episodes drop every Thursday, with short-form content posted daily. The series is available on the “Exciting Mics” YouTube channel, the PHLY Sports YouTube channel, and wherever podcasts are found, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Telecommunications provider Xfinity is the title sponsor of “Exciting Mics” season two and will have a custom segment in the show. In addition, Cooper cheese returns as a sponsor of the show and will have a branded segment called “Cooper Sharp Player of the Week.”
