PHNX Builds on Arizona’s Largest Cardinals Community with Expanded 2026 Season Coverage
New morning show from Johnny Venerable and Bo Brack, four marquee events with Gila River Resorts & Casinos, and 10 appearances from Kurt Warner highlight the network’s plans for the season
PHOENIX — Sept. 4, 2026 — PHNX, ALLCITY Network’s Phoenix market, today announced its coverage plans for the 2026 Arizona Cardinals season, building on the fan base it has grown into the largest Cardinals community in the Valley. The season will bring a full slate of game-day programming, a new morning show, four marquee events, and a heavier rotation of recognizable names throughout the year.
Every Cardinals game this season will be bracketed by PHNX’s pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage, along with a live Watchalong show that gives fans a place to follow along as the game unfolds, the same rhythm PHNX has used to build Birdgang into the region’s biggest Cardinals audience.
That growth is showing up in new real estate on the schedule. Johnny Venerable, entering his fifth season covering the Cardinals for PHNX, and Bo Brack, now in his fourth, are teaming up for a new morning show, Early Birds with Johnny and Bo, airing Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. PHNX plans to expand the show to two mornings a week later in the season. The move doesn’t come with any additions to the on-air roster, it’s PHNX finding a new outlet for two voices who have already spent years building the show’s audience.
PHNX’s events calendar opened Sept. 3 with PHNX Cardinals Live, a live show featuring Will Johnson, the Michigan national champion now entering his second season as a Cardinals defensive back, at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass. From there, Gila River Resorts & Casinos will present watch parties for each of the Cardinals’ first two road games of the season, giving fans two more chances early on to watch together.
The season heads out of state in October, when PHNX takes Birdgang along for the annual Birdgang Travel Trip, following the Cardinals to New York for their Oct. 4 game against the Giants. Plans are still available at BirdgangTravel.com.
It builds to the biggest gathering of the year on Nov. 8, when the PHNX Gila Watch Party returns at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – San Tan Mountain. This year’s version is bigger by design, with $25 tickets, giveaways, and more.
Alongside the events, PHNX is bringing a heavier rotation of familiar names into the coverage. Kurt Warner will join the show 10 times over the course of the season, with each appearance running 20 to 30 minutes. Brittan Golden also returns for his third season with PHNX.
“We didn’t build the biggest Cardinals community in Arizona by standing still,” said Greg Esposito, General Manager of PHNX. “Johnny and Bo have earned this new spot on the schedule, Kurt Warner is going to be a fixture with us all year, and our Gila Watch Party in November is going to be the biggest one we’ve ever put on. This season is about giving Birdgang more ways to be part of it.”
